  1. May 18,  · I love this album! It is easily Carlos' best work. I believe it shows the music he really wanted to make; without major production company input. My favorite song is probably Just in Time to See the Sun. It's such a jamming tune. The rest of the album is just as good as well. This is, in my opinion, one of the greatest albums of all time/5().
  2. I thought that Santana III was just an amazing album with a fantastic final track (on the original album) in Toussant L'Overture. I was eagerly waiting for their next album. Well, Caravanserai came out and I was wondering what had happened to the band - did not sound at all like the first three albums/5().

  6. referencing Caravanserai, LP, Album, Gat, S , , KC I don't understand the notes in combination with the image: "Label variation, 2 track titles appear above the CBS centred logo. The image only shows one track above the CBS centred logo.
  7. Sep 30,  · The album is unpredictable, beguiling and highly listenable. Just don't expect a singalong - sit back and try to absorb its sheer brilliance. Take two tracks like "Waves Within" and "Look Up (To See What's Coming Down)" as examples, then the power of the intro to "Just In Time To See The Sun"/5().
  8. Drawing on rock, salsa, and jazz, Santana recorded one imaginative, unpredictable gem after another during the s. But Caravanserai is daring even by Santana's high standards. Carlos Santana was obviously very hip to jazz fusion -- something the innovative guitarist provides a generous dose of on the largely instrumental prunkomasgingfunphe.queranicliposkeworkklanoluncepigs.cor its approach is jazz-rock or simply rock, this.
  9. Background. Caravanserai marked a major turning point in Carlos Santana's career as it was a departure from his critically acclaimed first three albums. In contrast with the earlier trademark sound fusion of salsa, rock, and jazz, the album concentrated mostly on jazz-like instrumental prunkomasgingfunphe.queranicliposkeworkklanoluncepigs.co but three tracks were instrumentals. The album is the first in a series of Santana albums that.
