  2. That album was Land by the Comsat Angels. As someone who loves high quality audio systems I didn't buy into CD until quite late. With all my turntables sold and with a cracking CD player I regretted only 2 things - 1 was never having seen the demi-gods that are Comsat Angels live and the other was not owning Land on CD/5(6).

  3. According to the liner notes: Tracks 1 to 9 originally released on the LP Land. Tracks 10 & 11 originally released on the single Will You Stay Tonight?. Tracks 12 & 13 originally released on the single Island Heart. Track 14 originally released on the (incorrectly stated as in liner notes) single Independence Day. All tracks ℗ Zomba Productions 4/5(26).

  7. Land is the Comsat Angels' fourth album, released in September on Jive Records. The album was reissued on CD in with five B-sides as bonus tracks for Jive's "Connoisseur Collection". The song "Independence Day," originally from their debut album, Waiting for a Miracle, was rerecorded for Land. "Will You Stay Tonight" and "Independence Day" .

  8. Apparently Robert Palmer was a fan, so he stepped in to produce the Chasing Shadows album. Wow, how polished it is! (But it's still not better than the first three.) The Cutting Edge track on that album is one of the best ever of Comsat Angels'; however, that cutting edge / indie sound, isn't maintained throughout the album.
